Anubis P2P is a new file sharing program that tries to compete with eMule and in some aspects achieves it's goal and in others, fails.
It includes all the latest P2P optimization methods making it fast, reliable and easy to use. The difference between Anubis and eMule is mainly visual however - and there really isn't much difference at the end of the day. The main innovations are the way it connects to P2P networks. There have been some icons changes from eMule but unlike eMule, the only language it's available in is English. It also doesn't feature the handy setup wizard that eMule users are presented with on first installation. It has the same functions as eMule i.e. browsing through multiple servers, transfer management, chat windows, statistics and an advanced settings panel with the same options. The only real novelty is in the optimizer download that lets you select the file unless requested, which basically allows downloads to begin soon.
A nice little P2P app although it really doesn't offer any significant advantages over eMule.
